Spread Kindness Like Confetti
Hello everyone,
I want to share a few stories about spreading kindness and magic during the winter months.
Several weeks ago, I went to carol sing with my school’s Student Government. We sang some songs, Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Deck the Halls, and Jingle Bell Rock, and delivered Christmas presents and holiday cards at a convalescent home for the elderly. Hopefully, our actions brought a little magic into the older people’s lives.
After witnessing the brutal conditions, I developed a sense of awareness and understanding of some problems in our community. I felt an urge and a need to take action, so I had an idea to help organize a blanket drive for the homeless.
My English teacher loves to say, “Spread kindness like confetti.” My experience helping those in need was rewarding, and I believe we can all do our part to make the world a better place.
Kriso out.
